New Superyacht FLYING DRAGON to Join Charter Fleet

By Editorial Team   17 June 2014

The new Admiral 45 Regale motor yacht FLYING DRAGON was launched over the weekend and is set to join the charter fleet shortly.

The order for this new superyacht was signed back in May 2013. She touched the water on Saturday and was christened FLYING DRAGON, emphasised by the enormous blue dragon graphic by Dobroserdov Design that stretches down her side. Not only a distinctive and stylish superyacht by her light blue hull, gleaming white superstructure and dragon motif; twin MTU engines combined with a lightweight planing aluminium hull give her a top speed of approximately 27 knots.

FLYING DRAGON boasts a range of interior spaces on board that do not disappoint. Featuring a blend of dark wood furniture, beige lacquered ceilings and Tabu lati chocolate parquet floors throughout, her main deck incorporates generous open areas perfect for entertaining with full-height doors that open up to the starboard side. Further forward is a dining area for 12 and the full-beam master suite with large windows. The master ensuite encompasses black marble washbasins, a white onyx bath tub and shower and a light blue onyx wall, while set between his and hers changing areas is a steam bath. Guest accommodation is located on the lower deck in the form of two VIP staterooms and two twins, each with beds bordered in red onyx.

Outside, FLYING DRAGON’s sun deck provides a large area for sunbathing, a Jacuzzi and an alfresco dining area. The Asian theme is evident here too, with a large ‘tao’ symbol on the underside of the hardtop. Each outdoor area can be screened by Arab tents that are secured on removable poles to provide even more shade to her guests when on deck.

FLYING DRAGON began life under the name CAPRI but was sold just a couple of months ago and renamed by her new owners. She will be on display at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show and is set to join the charter market shortly.
