New Red Sea Yacht Show to debut in Saudi Arabia in 2027

By Anna Ingles   29 July 2026

Saudi Arabia is set to welcome a new addition to the international yachting calendar with the launch of the Red Sea Yacht Show, scheduled to take place at Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina from 14-17 October 2027.

Designed to showcase the Kingdom's expanding superyacht sector, the inaugural event aims to bring together yacht owners, builders, brokers, designers, investors and luxury brands while highlighting the Red Sea as an emerging winter charter destination.

According to the organizers, the show will feature more than 50 superyachts, 150 exhibitors and attract over 10,000 visitors during its first edition.

A milestone for Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina

The announcement follows another significant achievement for Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina, which recently became one of the newest marinas in the Middle East to receive the prestigious Five Gold Anchor accreditation from The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA).

Awarded following an independent assessment of customer service, facilities, safety and environmental standards, the Five Gold Anchor rating recognizes marinas that deliver the highest levels of operational excellence and visitor experience.

Located on Jeddah's Red Sea waterfront, the marina is capable of accommodating superyacht charters up to 120m in length and has become an increasingly prominent gateway to Saudi Arabia's growing marine tourism sector.

More than a traditional yacht show

Alongside an on-water display of superyachts and Saudi Arabia yacht charters, the Red Sea Yacht Show is being positioned as a broader luxury lifestyle event.

According to the official event website, visitors can expect experiences spanning:

  • Superyacht displays and onboard viewings
  • Watch and jewelry maisons
  • Michelin-star dining experiences
  • Performance and luxury automobiles
  • Golf experiences with professional players
  • Red Sea reef diving excursions
  • Evening yacht receptions and networking events
  • Waterfront entertainment through the "RYS After Dark" program

The show is also expected to provide a platform for shipyards, brokerage houses, designers, naval architects, family offices and private capital to connect as Saudi Arabia continues expanding its luxury maritime sector.

Expanding the global yachting calendar

Scheduled for mid-October, the event is timed to coincide with the annual migration of many superyachts from the Mediterranean toward winter cruising destinations, offering another potential stop on the international charter circuit.

With many yachts already known to visit the Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina for the annually anticipated Saudi Arabia Grand Prix, the extra fixture on the calendar presents more incentive for the region to be considered as an alternative destination for those who would usually head towards the Caribbean.

Organizers say the Red Sea's warm winter climate, developing superyacht infrastructure and ongoing coastal investment make the region well positioned to support year-round activity for Red Sea yacht charters.

Looking ahead

As investment in Saudi Arabia's marine tourism sector continues, the launch of the Red Sea Yacht Show represents another step in establishing the Kingdom as a destination for both superyacht ownership and luxury yacht charters.

With the backing of Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina's newly awarded Five Gold Anchor accreditation and a growing calendar of international marine events, the 2027 debut will be closely watched by the global yachting industry.
