M/Y RIMA II in Top Condition Following Refit

By Editorial Team   16 June 2014

The 49.5m Benetti charter yacht RIMA II has just undergone a two-phase refit bringing her completely up-to-date.

Originally built by the celebrated Benetti shipyard in 1987, motor yacht RIMA II was recently at the Aganlar shipyard for a thorough refit that included the renewal of her electrical systems, changes to the layout of her engine room, new bow thrusters and new zero-speed stabilisers. A new bar and sun-seating area was also installed and her galley was completely redesigned.

During the refit, RIMA II’s existing analogue system was upgraded to a new digital MTU automated system, while her wheelhouse console was completely redesigned to hold the new equipment along with the existing panels. All of her hydraulic equipment, including her passerelle and deck crane, has been serviced and repaired and her entire bilge was cleaned up and repainted.

Following the completion of this extensive refit, RIMA II is now available to charter in the Mediterranean from €149,000 per week. For more information, talk to your preferred yacht charter broker.
