67-meter Feadship yacht Project 823 emerges from her shed

Following her technical launch back in January 2022, the 67m (221ft) Feadship superyacht Project 823 has been moved outside her Netherlands-based construction shed in Kaag for final outfitting ahead of sea trials later this year.

Showcasing a bold, linear profile with a striking reverse sheer to the bow, courtesy of Azure Naval Architects and Studio De Voogt – who are also responsible for her “simple yet sophisticated” interior design tailored to the family’s specific needs – the motor yacht wowed onlookers as she emerged into daylight over the weekend.

Built for an experienced owner, the senior designer at Studio De Voogt, Jan Shaffers, confirmed “the main theme of the yacht is strength.” He went on to explain that, “the radii throughout are larger than usual to emphasise this. At the same time, we aimed to focus on the length of the yacht by creating uninterrupted lines, for instance in the widebody windows and the superstructure. Together this creates a very unique character.”

The 2,220 GT yacht places heavy emphasis on outdoor living, with her large crowning sundeck acting as the highlight and focal point for family life on board. This area features a central lounging/conversation zone, which is protected from the elements but still boasts uninterrupted views via wide side windows and myriad skylights.

The yacht will also offer its guests full internet capabilities harnessing the latest flat panel technology to ensure seamless connections whilst at sea.

Tender storage has been moved to her foredeck to make way for a generous beach club, leading to a gym and wellness area on the lower deck.

Yacht Project 823 will provide accommodation for 10 guests across 5 cabins, comprising a master stateroom on her main deck forward, with a further VIP cabin located on the bridge deck. The three remaining cabins can be found on her lower deck.
