Genoa International Boat Show Announces Changes

Organisers of the upcoming 2014 Genoa Boat Show have announced more changes to the October event.

Taking place from 1 to 6 October, the 2014 edition of the Genoa International Boat Show promises to be the most dynamic editions yet. This year's show aims to be easier and more engaging for guests, with internationalisation and promotion of the Italian yacht industry the key goals.

Particularly of not is the change to the layout of the show, it will now be easier to navigate the show and visit stands to satisfy for the hundreds of thousands of yacht enthusiasts who are expected to attend. President of Salone Nautico Anton Francesco Albertoni commented that ..."this year's more mature version fully meets the needs of exhibitors and the public alike and provides a more "intense experience."

This year's event is the first part of a 3-year plan to revitalise and reorganise Italy's most important yachting event. 

Since announcing further changes earlier this year, the show has announced an increased membership in comparison to previous years. There has been a 22% increase in sailing yachts registered to display in Genoa

Esteemed shipyards and international groups that with travel to the Italian Riveria this year include: Ferretti Group, Sanlorenzo, Sunseeker, Groupe Bénéteau, Solaris and Brunswick Marine alongside others.

...this year's more mature version fully meets the needs of exhibitors and the public alike.
