As one of the most highly celebrated deliveries of the year, it was with only the greatest excitement that we perused fresh interior photography of the 70m/230ft motor yacht JOY.
Delivered to her owner in July, superyacht JOY unsurprisingly generated a wealth of excitement.
The first motor yacht to have its exterior designed by the iconic Bannenberg & Rowell since the passing of their inestimable founder Jon Bannenberg in 2002, JOY bears much sharper lines than might be expected of a Feadship superyacht. Flanked by floor to ceiling windows, the main deck nicely draws in the sun whilst the discreetly recessed lighting overhead helps to sustain the refreshing ambience throughout the evening.

Lining the corridor leading to the staterooms, a series of floral flourishes continue a subtle theme introduced back in the main salon.
The cabins themselves each possess their own particular personality, with each being finished in a unique light hue.
Similar to the communal spaces, oversized windows provide charterers with plenty of natural light throughout the day should they desire it.
As a yacht defined by its consistency, it was no surprise to discover that the en suites are each completed in the same colour as their respective cabin.

Elsewhere inside, a dedicated gymnasium looks out across the water, making a workout that bit more satisfying whilst away on charter.
