The Owners of the 69m/226ft SHERAKHAN, Verkerk Yachting Projects, have commissioned Icon Yachts to refit the superyacht to ensure she is top condition before heading out to the Caribbean for the winter charter season.
SHERKHAN will be taken into the Icon Yachts shipyard for a short time to benefit from a repaint, new generators and thorough systems service and maintenance. She also recently acquired a brand new custom waterslide, ensuring she continues to compete with the most luxurious of modern superyachts available on the global charter fleet.
Built in 2005 by Vuyk, SHEREKHAN has been meticulously maintained and upgraded inside and out. Amongst her array of impressive amenities is a dedicated the ‘Spa de la Sirène’ – a stunning spa area featuring a Finnish sauna, cold water tub and a hot water Jacuzzi a separate massage room as well as beautifully designed living spaces. She sleeps up to 26 guests in 13 sumptuous staterooms, comprising of a master suite, VIP, four doubles, and six twin cabins, all of which named after famous authors.
Icon Yachts are also responsible for the recently completed remodel and refit of the 68m/223ft luxury motor yacht ICON which was unveiled during last month’s Monaco Yacht Show. A significant extension was made to the superyacht’s main aft deck to accommodate a stunning 5m infinity swimming pool in addition to a number of other upgrades and small changes to refresh her interior.
