By Editorial Team   29 December 2014

We can now confirm that the 79m/258ft superyacht ‘Pegasus V’ has been renamed ‘Pegasus VIII’ following her sale in June 2014.

In this photo taken in Genoa Marina Aeroporto by Leandro Malavasi, we can see the popular charter yacht’s brand new name plate which now reads ‘Pegasus VIII’. Launched in 2003 by Royal Denship, she has carved a reputation as one of the global charter fleet's most luxurious and innovatively designed vessels, going by the name of ‘Pegasus V’ up until July 2014.

Her expansive size allows for a vast range of onboard amenities to include a swimming pool, movie theatre and a fully-equipped gym. Perfect for corporate yacht charters and entertaining, ‘Pegasus VIII’ can host up to 50 guests while in port and features an integrated party deck with disco and dance floor. Designed by Espen Oeino with interior styling by Francois Zuretti, she accommodates 12 guests in six generous staterooms and carries an experienced crew of 24.
