77m Feadship ‘Syzygy 818’ renamed superyacht PI

By Katia Damborsky   11 December 2019

Delivered earlier this year, the 77m/ 254ft Feadship superyacht Syzygy 818 has been renamed PI

The news comes just months after the yacht made her inaugural appearance at the Monaco Yacht Show. The reason for the name change is currently unknown.

PI made waves when Feadship live-streamed her launch in June, and she has since been shrouded in secrecy.

Her double-curved exteriors are the work of Jarkko Jamsen of Aivan Yacht Design, while her Japanese-inspired interiors have been helmed by Sinot. Naval architecture comes from De Voogt.

Accommodation is provided for a total of 12 guests and 18 members of crew.

The motor yacht has a host of impressive amenities, including a glass-bottomed pool and backlit onyx spa facilities.

Her double-curved exteriors are the work of Jarkko Jamsen of Aivan Yacht Design, while her Japanese-inspired interiors have been helmed by Sinot.

Her beach club is flooded with light from the pool above, and benefits from twin sea terraces.

Her former name is an astrological term referring to the precise alignment of the sun, moon or stars which creates phenomena such as the lunar eclipse. 818 is the former project name of the yacht and is a prosperous number in Chinese numerology.
