Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 25 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 28 knots with a range of up to 650 nautical miles from her 8,400 litre fuel tanks at 21 knots. With a shallow draft of 1.65m/5'5" Kumba IV can anchor closer to coves and sheltered bays overnight.
