The 68.2m/223'9" expedition yacht 'Q' (ex. Sanaborg) was built by Royal Niestern Sander. Her interior is styled by British designer design house RWD and delivered in June 2020. She originally served as an ice breaking multipurpose support supply vessel before being converted into a yacht by Icon Yachts in 2020. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of RWD.
Q has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 7 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Her features include a helipad, steam room, beauty salon, gym, deck jacuzzi, WiFi and air conditioning.
Q is built with a steel hull and steel superstructure, with steel decks. Powered by twin diesel-electric Caterpillar (3516HD) 2,682hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 14 knots with a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles from her 817,000 litre fuel tanks. An advanced stabilisation system on board promises exceptional comfort levels at anchor or on any voyage. Her water tanks store around 330,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to BV (Bureau Veritas) classification society rules.
