The 43.59m/143' motor yacht 'Aurora' (ex. Masquerade) was built by Palatka Shipbuilding Inc. at their San Diego, CA shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Douglas Sharp and she was completed in 1984. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Douglas Sharp and she was last refitted in 2009.
Aurora has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising one VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Her features include steam room, gym, WiFi and air conditioning.
Aurora is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Detroit Diesel (Series 60) 450hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots with a range of up to 3,455 nautical miles from her 43,630 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her low draft of 1.96m/6'5" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 9,228 Litres of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) classification society rules.
