The 140.58ft Custom sail yacht 'Asgard' was built by Abeking & Rasmussen in Germany at their Lemwerder shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1993 and last refitted in 2015. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Bruce King Yacht Design. Previously named Hetairos, her luxurious interior was designed by Andrew Winch.
Asgard's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests overnight in 5 cabins, comprising a master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard in 2 cabins to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Asgard features a displacement wood hull and wood superstructure, with teak decks.
Powered by 1 MTU (12V 183 TE 92) 985hp diesel engines and propelled by her single screw propeller sailing yacht Asgard is capable of a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 9 knots when powered by her engine. With her 40,689 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,500 nautical miles at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 23,846 litres of fresh water.
