The 46.94m / 154' Custom sail yacht 'Mikado' was built by Hitachi Zosen in Japan at their Kanagawa shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1986 and last refitted in 2006. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of William Garden. The yacht's interior has been designed by Naomi Leff & Associates.
Mikado's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 cabins, comprising a master suite, and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Powered by 2 Caterpillar 600hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers sailing yacht Mikado is capable of a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots when powered by her engines. With her 40,000 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,400 nautical miles at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 15,000 litres of fresh water.
