The 35.2m/115'6" motor yacht 'Opus II' was built by Heesen in the Netherlands at their Oss shipyard. Her interior is styled by British designer design house Evan K Marshall and she was completed in 1997. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Francesco Paszkowski Design.

Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with aluminium & teak decks, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V396TB94) 3,450hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 29 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 35 knots with a range of up to 1,382 nautical miles from her 24,000 litre fuel tanks at 15 knots. Her low draft of 1.55m/5'1" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 4,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) classification society rules.
