The 125ft Custom motor yacht motor yacht 'Chimera' was built by Broward in United States at their Ft. Lauderdale shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1989 and last refitted in 1995. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Broward. Previously named Kallista, her luxurious interior was designed by Susan Peluo. Her exterior is styled by the Broward team who are also responsible for the entire engineering package. The yacht's luxury interior styling is the work of Susan Peluo
Accommodation
Chimera's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 cabins, comprising a master suite, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Construction & Dimensions
Chimera features a semi-displacement aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) classification society rules.
Motor yacht Chimera is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience underway.
Performance
Powered by 2 Detroit Diesel (16 V 92 TA) 1,400hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screws propelles Motor yacht Chimera is capable of a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 38,607 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,275 nautical miles at 17 knots. Her water tanks store around 4,542 litres of fresh water.
