Where Scandinavian ancestry comes to life
The known history of Norway dates back as early as the 9th century with the settlements of the Vikings. Although these ancient warriors are gone, you can still find many historic sites peppered around fjords, which provide an authentic look into the lives of the country's ancestors.
Located in Gudevangen, in the heart of the UNESCO awarded Sognefjord, lies a charming Norwegian town that has been turned into an ancient settlement. The settlement has adopted the name Njardarheimr and brings to the life the real heritage and culture of the Viking era.
