10 Undiscovered Greek Islands to Visit by Luxury Charter Yacht

Kastellorizo, Dodecanese

3 of 10

Although lying just 800 metres from the Turkish coast, Kastellorizo is undeniably Greek. Luxury yachts arriving into the harbour will be greeted by an elegant cluster of brightly coloured villas pleasingly at odds with the brilliant white buildings that characterise most Greek settlements.

Kastellorizo takes its name from the russet red fortification that guards the island and, in town, cobblestone alleyways weaving their way past the rainbow-hued mansions are off limits to any form of transport with more than two wheels.

Idyllic beaches ribbon nearby islets, such as Ro, Stoggyli and St George, and the Galazio Spilaio – Blue Cave – is known worldwide for its fantastical stalactites formations.
