Folegandros, Cyclades

Folegandros lies on the southern edge of the Cyclades with the Sea of Crete sweeping away to its south. There are hardly any transport links to this remote and rocky island, meaning superyacht-goers will be rewarded with a Greek hideaway free from the trappings of tourism.

Huddled atop a jagged clifftop is Chora, easily one of the most alluring villages in the Cyclades. A tangle of paved lanes are lined with traditional white-washed houses, blue-doomed churches and inviting tavernas, while boats dock at the little harbour of Karavostasis below.  

Rugged cliffs and rock formations make dramatic backdrops for the beautiful beaches here, many of which can only be accessed by boat.
