This 119m/390ft US Army transport ship was torpedoed in the Lombok Strait during World War Two and now lies just 30 metres from the coastline of Tulamben, a small fishing village in northeast Bali. Ranging in depth from four to 30 metres, the vessel has transformed into a haven for marine life, and counts sea fans, nudibranchs, gorgonians, hydroids and anemones among its residents, while schools of big-eyed trevally, jacks, gobies, lizardfish, barracuda are also regulars in the area.
