Shark Point, Gili Islands

The tiny Gili Islands located off the northwest coast of Lombok are home to Shark Point, a vast, open dive site open to all abilities of divers. The spot starts with a sloping reef distinguished by a series of ridges and valleys, which lead to deeper waters. An impressive variety of marine life inhabits this reef, with turtles found among the shallow, soft corals, and white-tip and black-tip sharks, jacks, barracuda, angelfish, snapper and blue spotted stingrays at home in deeper waters.
