Amels began its life as a builder of rugged fishing trawlers before turning its expertise to the construction of luxury yachts in 1982. Now one of the industry’s most well-known and highly-respected names, Amels consistently delivers the most spectacular of superyachts.
Specialising in fully customized yachts up to 100 metres in length, Amels also produces a range of innovative Limited Editions designs across four different semi-custom series that have ensured its continued success amongst the yachting elite.
From its base in Vlissingen- Holland’s third busiest port- Amels operates both a ship building and a refit service in facilities the company shares with Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding. The modern facilities include two large covered drydocks, two covered finishing bays for the completion and refit of yachts up to 200 metres, and office space.
