The 42.4m/139'1" motor yacht 'Heron' (ex. Dale R II) was built by Abeking & Rasmussen in Germany at their Lemwerder shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Orsini Design Associates and she was completed in 1985. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Tom Fexas Yacht Design and she was last refitted in 2023.

Guest Accommodation

Heron has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 11 guests in 6 suites comprising one VIP cabin. The master suite incorporates its own study benefits from a his and her bathroom. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M92) 1,633hp engines running at 2450rpm, she comfortably cruises at 16 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 21 knots with a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles from her 36,579 litre fuel tanks at 16 knots. Her low draft of 2.2m/7'3" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 8,706 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Unknown classification society rules.
