Recently released footage of the Monaco Yacht Show 2018 showcases the highlights from the opening day of the iconic yachting event.
There’s no doubt that the main attraction of this year’s Monaco Yacht Show is the fleet of 121 superyachts lined up in Port Hercules, as captured beautifully in the video above.
Impossible not to spot are the likes of the 92m/302ft Feadship charter yacht AQUARIUS, the 89m/290ft superyacht BARBARA from Oceanco and Turquoise’s 77m/253ft superyacht GO, which is unmissable thanks to the vivid blue hue of her hull and matching custom tender.
The footage also shows how busy Port Hercules is with tenders transporting visitors across the port and out to superyachts anchored off the Monaco coast for private viewings.
Back on land, the boardwalks are shown to be abuzz with attendees as leading shipyards such as Feadship and Nobiskrug reveal their latest projects and services, and the world’s top brokerage houses are on hand to attend to show visitors interested in making a purchase or charter.
There is also a prestige car exhibition known as the 'Car Deck' and a zone dedicated to tenders and toys which, following its debut at last year's edition, is back even bigger and better than before.
