The 2014 Singapore Yacht Show Begins Today

By Editorial Team   10 April 2014

The 2014 Singapore Yacht Show was officially opened this afternoon by Minister Iswaran at ONE°15 Marina Club.

Beginning today at the ONE°15 Marina Club in Sentosa Cove, the fourth edition of the Singapore Yacht Show promises to be even larger than ever before.

The Perini Navi Group are making the debut at the show this year with their 50m charter yacht EXUMA. World leaders in the design and construction of large yachts, both motor and sailing, this is their first appearance at the show alongside Heesen and Northrop & Johnson. H2 Design are also making an appearance in a bid to further enhance their activities in Asia while Rossinavi are attending the show in Singapore to make their first major appearance in Asia alongside a number of other European shipyards.

The 60m superyacht CLOUD 9 is also currently at the show, presented by Burgess. Winner of the Showboats Design Award for Exterior Styling and Design in 2010, she boasts a distinctive dark blue hull and striking white superstructure that are complimented by her modern and sophisticated interior.

Meanwhile, Princess Yachts have brought along their new 88 Motor Yacht, yard number 88Y888, to the show for her Asia debut. Featuring an all-new infused long-range hull, her spacious main deck is light and airy and her wheelhouse and galley are separated from the main guest areas with discrete crew access. Offering accommodation in the form of either four or five ensuite staterooms, the 88 Motor Yacht is sure to be a popular charter choice should one of them be added to the global charter fleet in the future.
