A go-anywhere explorer, Northern Sun can transport you through the world’s remotest oceans in the utmost luxury and comfort. Starting life as a Japanese ice-class marine research vessel, she is now one of the most sought-after superyachts in South East Asia.
Based in Phuket, Thailand, throughout the winter, she also has a charter license for the wonderfully wild and remote waters of Myanmar and, this Christmas, charterers can experience all she has to offer from 16th to 26th December at a reduced base rate of USD 147,000.
As well as boasting an adventurous spirit, she is equipped with a variety of impressive leisure and entertainment facilities. No matter whether fun, relaxation or socialising is on the agenda, she can fulfil the wishes of a variety of guests looking to celebrate the festive season in style.
Take in spectacular views of the region while unwinding in the private sundeck spa pool, seek out the foredeck lounging area for sunset cocktails, dine alfresco with the whole charter party on the aft deck and escape with a book in one of the luxe outside lounging areas.
Hours of fun can be had on the water thanks to the large collection of on-board water toys. Head to the extended swim platform and try out the laser sailing dinghies, Seadoo scooters, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, water skis, wakeboards and scuba diving equipment.

Opportunities for getting together with friends and family as well as winding down continue into the interior of charter yacht Northern Sun. Asian-inspired styling ensures a welcoming atmosphere in which guests can truly feel at ease while on their private yacht charter.
To achieve this, tropical woods such as teak, makore and narra complement woven rugs and a warm colour palette. This can be seen in the spacious main salon, the entertainment saloon, which features a games table and piano, and the formal dining salon and its adjoining library.
After a day at sea, guests can retreat into one of six sumptuous cabins, including a large master cabin, three double cabins and two twin cabins. In total, 12 guests can be accommodated on board the motor yacht.
