Superyacht 'Coral Ocean' To Attend The Antigua Charter Yacht Show 2016

By Oliver Pearson   17 November 2016

Generating an incredible buzz out in the Caribbean, the 73m/238ft motor yacht ‘Coral Ocean’ has confirmed she will be going on display at the Antigua Charter Yacht Show next month.

Set to be in fantastic company, Coral Ocean will be joining the likes of the 88m/289ft sailing yacht ‘Maltese Falcon’ and the 90m/296ft motor yacht NERO in the English Harbour between 4th-10th December.

No doubt one of the most secretive motor yachts to ever cruise the globe, the interior of Coral Ocean was, until recently, a complete mystery to all but those who had stepped on board. Having had the opportunity to visit her at the Monaco Yacht Show this September, the team at YachtCharterFleet composed a fully comprehensive review which can be read here.

Built by Lurssen in 1994 and receiving a refit to meet modern compliance standards earlier this year, Coral Ocean features an exterior and interior designed by the inestimable Bannenberg & Rowell.

Unquestionably one of the enduring icons of Jon Bannenberg’s legacy, superyacht Coral Ocean casts a wholly unique profile in the water. Indeed, with retractable balconies on both her port and starboard sides, and the kind of exterior lines which could only have been penned by the legendary British designer, there’s no mistaking her for any other superyacht.

Her voluminous interior is comfortably furnished and is inspired by African and Polynesian art, with numerous art pieces personally acquired by her owner. With spacious communal areas located on both the interior and the exterior, charterers will have no difficult enjoying their company and surroundings out on the water.

A relative newcomer to the charter fleet, Coral Ocean only became available for vacations in the summer, and is expected to be available in the Caribbean over winter. With a total of six cabins and an attendant crew of nineteen, she is capable of sleeping up to twelve guests whilst away on a private yacht charter.

To charter superyacht Coral Ocean is to discover precisely why she was one of the best kept secrets
