The magnificent 85.6m/281ft motor yacht CAKEWALK is set to be one of the largest superyachts on display at the forthcoming 2014 Monaco Yacht Show.
Built in 2010 by Derecktor Shipyards, the Tim Heywood-designed CAKEWALK is renowned as one of the world’s largest superyachts and is the largest luxury yacht ever to have been constructed in the US. Her impressive volume is complimented by an extensive range of facilities set over six spectacular decks, offering everything from a yoga studio to an all-access elevator.
CAKEWALK’s intricate interior epitomises timeless luxury, featuring dark wood panelling and furnishings and a number of spacious relaxation spaces. Her main salon boasts a classically elegant feel and includes a library, majestic fireplace and a grand piano while two gyms and a bridge deck media salon ensure all guests are kept entertained at sea.
A magnificent spiral staircase takes centre stage through all six decks of the superyacht, finished with stunning wrought ironwork against a backdrop of soaring cherry wood panels. CAKEWALK’s seven staterooms comprise of a master suite, four VIP’s and two twin cabins, all of which are situated on the main deck and benefit from large windows. The master suite also offers an elegant private lounge area as well as his-and- hers baths and twin walk-in closets.
The luxurious outdoor living areas make full use of her exceptional size, including her vast sundeck with open-air bar, sunpads and sun-loungers and a Jacuzzi. A beautifully fitted beach-club provides the perfect spot to enjoy the waters and offers easy access to her three custom tenders to include a Limited Edition AquaRiva ‘Centos’ in addition to her full selection of watertoys.
