Over Christmas and New Year charters on the 58.5m luxury motor yacht Islander are being offered at a reduced rate of $240,000 per week in the Bahamas or Caribbean for a minimum of 10 days.
Delivered in 1991 by Australian Yacht Builders, Islander was built to a design by Glade Johnson. She was built initially as an ABS classed motorsailer, but had a total internal and external refit in 2010 which included having her masts and keel removed and converting her into a motor yacht.
Islander's new features include a swimming pool, two cars, a sportfisher, a gym and an elevator. She has a master suite, three double staterooms and a twin cabin, along with three pullman berths, that can accomodate up to 12 guests.
Normal charter rates start from $195,000 per week plus expenses.
