New Photos: 90m Oceanco DREAMBOAT hits the water

By Katia Damborsky   18 February 2019

The 90m/295ft motor yacht DREAMBOAT, formerly known as Y716, has been spotted on the water in Rotterdam.

Superyacht DREAMBOAT has hit the waters in Rotterdam, after being transported from Oceanco's facilities in Alblasserdam, in South Holland.

On-lookers were treated to a spectacular sight, as the megayacht cruised along the canals of the Netherlands. On Friday night, the iconic Koningshaven bridge was lifted for her to pass beneath.

Dubbed Project Yasmin during her build, DREAMBOAT will rank in the Top 100 Superyachts in the world upon delivery, sharing the 70th spot with fellow Oceanco build, superyacht DAR. She is on schedule to be delivered in time for the summer season.

Sporting exterior design from Espen Oeino, the superyacht has a classic profile which is highlighted by cut-outs in her bulwarks and a generous overhang from the superstructure. She boasts plenty of glazing, which bathe her interiors in light and give those on board unparalleled views over the surrounds.

The megayacht’s interior design is the work of Terence Disdale Design, who has used an eclectic blend of rare materials to create an elegant and sophisticated on-board ambience. Materials including limestone, semi-precious gems and mother of pearl feature throughout.

It has been an intense project, but with some clear direction from the owner, excellent collaboration between Espen Øino, Terence Disdale Design and Oceanco, we have achieved a great deal.

Other highlights include a large pool on the main deck aft and an owner’s suite with a private jacuzzi. Crowning the motor yacht, a sweeping sundeck boasts an impressive array of seating areas alongside a jacuzzi. Accommodation is provided for up to 23 guests, making DREAMBOAT PYC-compliant.

“It has been an intense project, but with some clear direction from the owner, excellent collaboration between Espen Øino, Terence Disdale Design and Oceanco, we have achieved a great deal and are poised to deliver a stunning yacht,” says Dan Jackson, the Owner’s representative.

While it is not yet known whether M/Y DREAMBOAT will be available to charter, you can view all Oceanco superyachts which are available to charter.
