The biggest nautical trade show in Italy, the annual Genoa Boat Show from October 1 to 6, will feature a 'Super Made in Italy' area to showcase the country's finest superyachts.
Manager of the Boat Show, Alessandro Campagna, said the event "is an important vehicle for promoting and raising awareness of Italian excellence in the nautical field" as Italy's traditionally built yachts have interest from an "increasingly international audience."
The year's inclusion of the 'Super Made in Italy' display signifies a new era in the Italian nautical industry, in which they hope to assert their status as a world leader. At the event superyachts will be on display along the Marina Grande 1 wharf. A selection of the best Italian yachts over 24m are thought to be attending the next Genoa Boat Show. Italian made mega yachts currently account for 40% of worldwide orders.
