First glimpse of 116m Lurssen superyacht 'Project Testarossa'

By Katia Damborsky   18 September 2019

The 116m/380ft motor yacht 'Project Testarossa' was spotted hitting the water for the first time today at Lurssen's Rendsburg facility today.

Known only as Project Testarossa, the latest Lurssen superyacht was seen being moved from a construction hall in Rendsburg earlier today.

She hit the water at the yard, before being moved to outfitting facilities for completion.

The motor yacht features interiors and exteriors by Nuvolari & Lenard in collaboration with designer Simone Feltrin. Delivery is expected in 2022.

The 5,000 GT project Testarossa is the third collaboration between Nuvolari & Lenard and Lurssen.

She follows in the footsteps of Lurssen's 2015 launch motor yacht QUATTROELLE.  The 88m/288ft superyacht is characterized by sleek and sporty lines and large crescent windows on the bow.

The third Nuvolari & Lenard project by Lurssen is the 142m (466ft) luxury yacht OPUS, also known as Project Redwood. She is still under construction at the Lurssen facilities, with delivery expected in 2020.

It is not yet known whether PROJECT TESTAROSSA will be available for luxury yacht charters.
