The 87m/285ft motor yacht LONIAN, previously known as Project 700, has been delivered to her owner and is now in the Mediterranean on her maiden voyage.
Although there has been no official announcement from Feadship, LONIAN has made it to Gibraltar after leaving the yard’s facilities in the Netherlands earlier in the week.
The yacht’s delivery marks her official entry into the Top 100 Largest Superyachts. At exactly 87 metres, she will slot into 83rd place, pushing Amels’ 83m/272ft charter yacht ‘Here Comes the Sun’ out of the rankings.
LONIAN is the second largest Feadship to be delivered this year, coming in behind the 110m/361ft superyacht ANNA, which is the largest yacht to ever be built by the renowned Dutch yard and the largest yacht by gross tonnage to ever be built in the Netherlands.
One of the most highly anticipated launches of the year, luxury yacht LONIAN boasts striking exterior styling from Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design and can be recognised by her sleek, navy blue hull. The design firm also worked on the interior in cooperation with LA-based Richard Hallberg Interior Design.

Not much else is known about the new build, but helipads can be seen gracing her sundeck aft and foredeck and a large swimming pool takes centre stage on the main deck aft, with steps nearby leading down to a spacious swim platform.
Accommodation for 12 guests is available and, according to Feadship, are ‘of the very highest standards’. With such a large volume, she is expected to be equipped with expansive guest living areas for entertaining, dining and relaxing, and to boast state-of-the-art amenities and unparalleled attention to detail.
