COVID-19 & Yacht Charter: Plan Now, Travel Later - Milos, the Secret Island of Greece

By Katia Damborsky   4 May 2020

Current travel restrictions as a result of COVID-19 may be keeping you indoors right now, but you can still use this time to start planning your next luxury yacht charter. Use our Our Plan Now, Travel Later series as inspiration and refer to our Social Distancing Yacht Charter guide for information about how you can tailor your vacation at sea.

As part of our Plan Now, Travel Later series, we'll be shining the spotlight on a selection of itineraries, travel features and destination guides for you to use as inspiration when planning your next superyacht charter.

The second installment of our series is perfect if you're looking to arrange a Greece yacht charter when travel restrictions are lifted. The small Greek island of Milos, in the Cyclades, is home to a unique beach, secret shipwreck and colorful fishing village.

This travel feature was written before the Coronavirus pandemic- if you'd like to visit Milos on a yacht as part of a Social Distancing Yacht Charter, please speak to your charter broker about tailoring an itinerary.

Luckily, Milos is already good for those in search of solitude at sea. It's far from the crowds, and it escapes most of the mainstream tourism associated with its sister islands.

The famous beach and the colorful village of Klima can also be viewed from the comfort of your yacht, meaning you don't have to step on shore to enjoy the beauty of this destination. What's more, the island is a great spot for playing with watertoys, with lots of caves to explore in kayaks and the sunken shipwreck acting as the perfect spot for snorkeling.
