Built by Royal Huisman in 2004, one of the leading Dutch shipyards, Athena is a clipper-bowed three masted gaff rigged schooner and at 90m she is the largest sailing yacht currently available for charter. She has accommodation for 10 charter guests in 5 staterooms, comprising a master suite, three doubles each with a queen size bed and a twin cabin, all with en-suite facilities.
In 2004 Athena was the winner of the Show Boats International Award for Best Sailing Yacht over 40, she has bee maintained to a very high standard following her refit in 2009.
