The Melia Varadero Marina is part of a five-star hotel complex and has 1,200 berths available.
Prensa Latina reported that both the resort and the marina were developed in a joint venture between local firm Gaviota and the Spanish Melia chain.
The marina is designed to handle yachts of all different sizes and is located on the Hicacos Peninsula, about 150km east of Havana.
