Bilgin Yachts celebrate technical launch of inaugural 52m Bilgin 170

In a proud moment for the esteemed shipyard Bilgin Yachts, the first of the 52m (170.6ft) Bilgin 170 series has achieved its technical launch. Commencing the next stage of its journey at West Istanbul Marina, the motor yacht will now undergo further equipment installations.

The Bilgin 170 series, which has already garnered attention due to its success, is the result of a collaboration between Turkey-based design firm Unique Yacht Design and Italy's Hot Lab, who have together brought to life an extraordinary maritime creation. The technical launch is a testament to the meticulous planning and expert craftsmanship that has gone into the motor yacht, paving the way for its exciting future.

Boasting a modern, sleek, and sporty exterior, the yacht will undergo final outfitting, commissioning, and sea trials. Offering ample space, with overnight accommodation up to 12 guests and 9 crew members, including an owner’s suite conveniently located on the bridge deck, the Bilgin 52M stands out for its expansive sundeck, equipped with an eight-person Jacuzzi, dining area, and bar, one of the largest for yachts in this segment and ideal for enjoying panoramas in the Mediterranean.

Designed to embody the pinnacle of luxury yachting, the Bilgin 170 series merges innovative design with superior craftsmanship. The exterior design enhances the yacht's sense of space but also its functionality, ensuring guests can enjoy their time aboard to the fullest, whether they are exploring the beautiful archipelagos of the Bahamas or enjoying front row seats at the Monaco Grand Prix.

Built upon the successful Bilgin 163 platform, the striking new 52m motor yacht features an extended bridge deck aft, crafting a larger and more traditional bow shape, which contributes to the yacht's sleek profile and provides ample space for crew operations and storage of equipment and toys.

The delivery of the first Bilgin 170 is anticipated by the end of 2024, with the second hull set to follow shortly after, ready to make its debut in the 2025 pre-season.
