Following a successful year of streamlined displays of enticing Mediterranean yacht charters, the forthcoming 2026 season of boat shows is already starting to take shape as both the MYBA Charter Show and MEDYS announce dates for their next shows.
Collaborating with each other to ensure the dates don't clash, the MYBA Charter Show and the Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS) are both trade-only events that provide exclusive opportunities for charter brokers and industry professionals to inspect a broad range of East and West Mediterranean yacht charters, with the primary aim to obtain first-hand knowledge of the season's hottest yacht rentals.
Renowned throughout the industry as a leading trade-only event, the MYBA Charter Show has grown substantially since its first edition and witnessed the arrival of 79 sailing and motor yacht charters at its latest edition in Portosole, San Remo.
No stranger to accommodating superyachts up to 295ft (90m), the show regularly attracts some of the biggest names and shipyards in the industry, many of which return year after year.
Announcing that the 2026 MYBA Charter Show is scheduled to run from 27 - 30 April, the event has been known to visit numerous locations throughout the Mediterranean. The destination for the 2026 MYBA Charter Show is yet to be announced. But in previous editions, the show has visited an ensemble of popular yacht charter destinations, including Genoa and Barcelona.
Over the years, the MYBA Charter Show has welcomed some truly remarkable Spain and Italy yacht charters, such as the striking 295ft (90m) luxury yacht rental LUNA - who made her show debut as the largest in show at the 2025 edition, the unmistakable 295ft (90m) charter yacht NERO, and the 266.8ft (81.27m) superyacht charter ALFA NERO who made headlines with a majestic return to the charter market after being involved with sanctions.

Arranging dates in such a fashion that yacht brokers and professionals can easily attend both events, the 2026 Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS) is scheduled to run from 2 - 6 May. Celebrating its milestone 10th edition in 2025, the popular showcase will be returning in 2026 to the glistening waters of Nafplion.
Breaking records in 2025 with its largest attending fleet of Greece yacht charters, MEDYS accommodates a good range of both motor and sailing yacht charters, with a mix that introduces visitors to both brand new and refitted yachts.
Along with the admirable fleet of attending luxury Greece yacht charters, MEDYS is also known for hosting a range of competitions for the attending crews to compete and earn bragging rights for their respective yacht. One of the most highly anticipated events is the Chef's Competition that challenges all involved to create a unique menu from a preset theme or list of ingredients.
With the Port of Nafplion acting as a prime hub for the East Mediterranean, the docks often see some staggering yacht rentals, some of which include 207ft (63m) superyacht charter ARTISAN - who made her show debut as the largest attending yacht in 2025, the effortlessly elegant 312ft (95m) luxury yacht charter O'PARI in 2024, and 278ft (84.73m) yacht rental O'PTASIA in 2023.
