The 45m/147'8" expedition yacht 'Southern Cross' (ex. Koshiji Maru) was built by Niigata Shipyard in Japan at their Niigata shipyard. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Periscope Naval Architects and she was last refitted in 2023.

A launchpad for adventure, Southern Cross is primed for practically every expedition imaginable across the globe.
Southern Cross has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Her features include conference facilities, WiFi and air conditioning.
Southern Cross is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Niigata (6MG25HX) 6-cylinder 1,500hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 14 knots. Her water tanks store around 10,000 Litres of fresh water.
Southern Cross knows a thing or two about fun on the water, with a selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to enjoy whilst on charter. If that isn't enough Southern Cross also features fishing equipment and paddleboards. Southern Cross features two tenders, but leading the pack is a 4.6m/15'1" Polycraft Tender to transport you in style.
