Yonder Star is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by 1 x diesel Gardner (8LXB) engines, she comfortably cruises at 8 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 13 knots with a range of up to 2,500 nautical miles from her 4,920 litre fuel tanks at 9 knots. Her water tanks store around 5,677 Litres of fresh water.
