The 23.95m/78'7" open yacht 'Tachyon' (ex. Mr. Brown) was built by Otam in Italy at their Genoa shipyard. Her interior is styled by Italian design house Salvagni Architetti and she was completed in 2011. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Umberto Tagliavini and she was last refitted in 2021.

Guest Accommodation

Tachyon has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by 4 x diesel MTU (Trimax 2000 10V M94) 1,622hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 45 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 52 knots. Her low draft of 1.4m/4'7" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 1,500 Litres of fresh water. She was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) classification society rules.
