The 25.5m/83'8" open yacht 'Tachion' (ex. Mr. Brown) was built by Otam in Italy at their Genoa shipyard. Her interior is styled by Italian designer design house Salvagni Architetti and she was completed in 2011. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Umberto Tagliavini and she was last refitted in 2021.
Tachion has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by twin diesel MTU (2000 10V M94) 2,600hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 45 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 53 knots. Her low draft of 1.4m/4'7" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 1,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) classification society rules.
