The 185.04ft Conversion expedition motor yacht 'Lady D' was built by Quality Shipyard in United States at their Moss Point LA shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1976 and last refitted in 2012. Previously named Quest,
Lady D's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests overnight in 7 cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 14 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Purchased in 2008 by an Asian owner and based at Raffles Marina, Lady D began life as a support boat for the oil industry. If ever there was a conversion tale in yachts, this is it. Though converted to be a yacht some years ago, Lady D had a major refit with the help of Scott Walker of Asia Pacific Superyachts. Formerly known as Quest, Lady D regularly cruises to Phuket.
Lady D features a displacement steel hull and steel superstructure, with steel decks. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) classification society rules.
Powered by 2 Wartsila (F28V) 1,760hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers Motor yacht Lady D is capable of a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 378,000 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 13,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 50,000 litres of fresh water.
