The 48.5m/159'1" classic yacht 'Western Isles' (ex. Shumpu Maru) was built by Ishikawajima-Harima in Japan at their Tokyo shipyard. She was last refitted in 2005.
Western Isles has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 suites comprising two VIP cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Western Isles is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with grp & teak decks. Powered by 1 x diesel Daihatsu (6PS MTCM-26E) 6-cylinder 750hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 9 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots with a range of up to 8,000 nautical miles from her 100,000 litre fuel tanks. Her water tanks store around 80,000 Litres of fresh water.
