The 60m/196'10" motor yacht 'Layah 1' (ex. Sharjah 1) was built by Riviera Yacht in the United Arab Emirates at their Sharjah shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house CDB Yacht Design and she was completed in 2011. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Focus Marine LLC.
Layah 1 has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests in 10 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Layah 1 is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M90) 12-cylinder 2,480hp engines running at 2100rpm, she comfortably cruises at 16 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 20 knots. She was built to BV (Bureau Veritas) classification society rules.
