The 25.9m/85' motor yacht 'Tau' (ex. New Moon II) was built by Westport Yachts in the United States at their Westport shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Gregory Marshall and she was completed in 2005. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of William Garden.
Tau has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 2 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000) 1,500hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 21 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 25 knots. Her low draft of 1.37m/4'6" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 425 Gallons of fresh water.
