The 35.05m / 115' Custom expedition motor yacht 'Koi' was built by McMullen & Wing in New Zealand, she was delivered to her owner in 2001 and last refitted in 2014. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Setzer Design Group. Previously named Surprise, her luxurious interior was designed by Setzer Design Group.
Accommodation
Koi's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 cabins, 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Construction & Dimensions
Koi features a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) classification society rules.
Performance
Powered by 2 Caterpillar 475hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers Motor yacht Koi is capable of a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 39,000 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,606 nautical miles at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 10,750 litres of fresh water.
