The 30.8m / 101'1 Custom motor yacht motor yacht 'Excel' was built by Palmer Johnson in United States at their Sturgeon Bay, WI shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1997 and last refitted in 2009. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of C. Raymond Hunt Associates. Previously named Moon River, her luxurious interior was designed by Anne Fredericks.
Excel's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 2 crew onboard in 1 cabins to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Excel features a deep vee aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with aluminium decks. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) classification society rules.
Powered by 2 Caterpillar (C-32 ACERT) 1,800hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers Motor yacht Excel is capable of a top speed of 29 knots, and comfortably cruises at 22 knots. She can carry around 17,411 litres of diesel on-board in her fuel tanks. Her water tanks store around 3,785 litres of fresh water.
