The 40.78m/133'10" motor yacht 'Aetea' (ex. Al Said) was built by Picchiotti at their Viareggio shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Bob Byron and she was completed in 1981. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Arthur de Fever.
Aetea has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Aetea is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V4000M53) 1,850hp engines running at 1800rpm, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 2,500 nautical miles from her 39,000 litre fuel tanks at 14 knots. Her water tanks store around 20,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules.
