The 179.13ft Custom sail yacht 'Shenandoah' was built by Townsend & Downey in United States at their Shooters Island, NY shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1902 and last refitted in 2009. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Theodore E. Ferris. Previously named Shenandoah, her luxurious interior was designed by Terence Disdale.
Shenandoah's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 cabins, comprising a master suite, 3 double cabins, 2 pullman beds. She is also capable of carrying up to 11 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Shenandoah features a displacement steel hull and teak superstructure, with teak decks.
Powered by 2 Lugger (L6140A) 470hp diesel engines and propelled by her single screw propeller sailing yacht Shenandoah is capable of a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 9 knots when powered by her engines. Her water tanks store around 6,000 litres of fresh water.
